Working three decades across numerous industries, John developed expertise in various disciplines, from business consulting to enterprise conglomerate. He spent ten years as a CEO, resulting in growing a company from $6 million to $90 million in revenue, with 60% net profit. The strategy, business processes, and management team John put in place for Mathena, Inc. led to significant interest from multiple parties and ultimately resulted in a valuation for the company well above market value at the time.
After the sale, John developed a vision based on needs he heard from business owners and families. There seemed to be an opportunity to partner with businesses and various organizations to develop clear strategies that – when executed – achieved desired results . John and co-founder Elizabeth established JM2 Capital in 2015 around two primary practices: business consulting and wealth management. They started providing strategic consulting services to smaller businesses while continuing to manage his family’s diversified portfolio of assets. To help ensure the wealth was protected, managed, and secured, John and Elizabeth worked with investment firms, accounting groups, custodian banks, and attorneys.
